What’s New In Deadline 7.0.0.50 (Release Candidate 4)
This is the fourth release candidate for Deadline 7, and mainly fixes a few bugs, including a regression introduced in RC3 that could result in the slave not updating its state properly.
Here are the highlighted changes:
Launcher Improvements
- When doing an automatic upgrade, the launcher now copies the bootstrap files to the system’s temp directory, instead of using the Deadline temp directory.
Monitor Improvements
- Fixed a regression that prevented panel docking from working.
- Fixed some typos and some of the confirmation dialogs when setting Pulse or Balancer as primary or standby.
- Renamed Idle Detection column in slave list to Idle Detection Override.
- Fixed a bug in the Idle Detection column in the slave list that would show it was enabled when the override option was actually disabled.
Slave Improvements
- Fixed a bug that could prevent the slave from updating its state again after doing it the first time when it starts up.
3ds Max Improvements
- Fixed a bug that affected the tile assembly of frames rendered using the VRay frame buffer.
- Fixed a tile assembly issue with VRay MultiMatte render elements.
