Hi ,
we found a problem - when we have installed Deadline Submission in Maya 2014 SP4 and want to render a REGION it won’t render with this message:
// Error: file: C:/Program Files/Autodesk/Maya2014/scripts/others/getMultiCameraRenderList.mel line 29: No object matches name: //

it is the same with all of our workstation

1. Deadline Version: 7.0.0.25 R (79978a431)
2. Windows 7 Pro (64bit)
3. Maya 2014 SP4
4. Open a scene where you can render anything. Open RenderView and select region render and viola: the error appears

Hi Jan,

We discovered this bug on Friday last week and it’s been fixed internally. For now, just unzip the attached file to \your\repository\submission\Maya\Main, and then restart Maya to load the new scripts.

Hey Jan,

So I managed to track this down apparently we were overriding one of maya’s methods (and apparently not using it… ) so I have removed that and tested it and it seems to fix everything.
Here is an updated script which you should just have to copy it same as last time
