3DS Max SMTD Private sanity check doesn't start

Hello,
We created a custom sanity check. It worked well until i had to reinstall deadline from scratch a few month ago.
When i run SMTD, the private sanity check doesn’t start.
The SubmitMaxToDeadline_SanityCheck_Private.ms is in Repository v3\submission\3dsmax\Main folder and I can see the that smtd update this file on all clients.

Any idea ? I am sur i miss something…

Thanks for reaching out. I can think about two things that might cause an issue:

  1. There is sanity check also present in the [Repo]\custom\submission\3dsmax\Main\ already which is overriding the changes you have made in the default folder.
  2. The script does not run because there is a bug in it. A bug might have been introduced due to Py2 to Py3 compatibility

I think the debug script listener might tell more when you run the sanity check. I looked for how to enable it and found this article on Autodesk’s Knowledge Base.
