3dsmax FumeFX network rendering

Hi all,
we would like to use our nodes to render FumeFX jobs which doesn’t require any license (for net rendering) - but ones the job is send there is a popup window which appears on a node machine (see attached) - which you need to click on CANCEL and the rendering for the job will start and will be succesfull. I couldn’t find any info regarding this and this popup appears always on a new job … is this solvable within Deadline ? I read somewhere things about slef.popuphandler - perhaps ?

Thanks for any idea.

best Jan

btw: our FUME FX is currently 3.5.4 (we can also install new 3.5.5 if needed)

Hi Jan,
IIRC, FumeFX doesn’t require a license to network render. You only need a license for networking siming (workstation or sim node license). Is it possible, that you accidentally left the “BackburnerMode” button checked ON in your Max file in the FumeFX UI prior to submitting to Deadline? This is only needed when you want to ‘network sim’ and NOT when you just want to ‘network render’.
