3dsmax submitter installation issue

Hi all,
I have an issue to instal the 3dsmax submitter… I tried to activate the windows 7 compatibility like somebody tells in this forum, tried to open the .exe as administrator… Nothing works…
The client bin dir with the deadlinecommand.exe is in the right place… The DEADLINE_PATH in environnement variable is ok too. I don’t understand.

Ok, I found the solution.
I had to create a local repository to be able to instal the submitter and after that, reassign the repository to the NAS one.

So the solution was that you installed a local repository, installed from it and deleted it?

This seems a complex process for a simple installation.

I think if you copy the installer files locally, that should also work.

Also, there is an option in the Deadline Monitor where you can download the integrated installers on the local machine from the Repo machine (same as copy but you do not have to manually do it at OS level). Then install it from there. This is the option: “Download Integrated Submission Script” in Tools menu of Deadline Monitor.
