3dsMax Tile Rendering Issues - part 2

  1. Deadline_v3.1_Custom_Tiles_Issue : Correct “Custom Tiles” are not getting correctly submitted to the farm(see image below):

  1. In the SMTD, “Re-render User-Defined Tiles” checkbox is getting turned off whenever an artist navigates away from the “Tiles” tab in SMTD. This seems wrong and annoying!

  1. This is an issue that only affects the 3dsmax tile jobs because it is the only one that allows you to re-render specific tiles. The code that figures out which tile each “task frame” represents isn’t smart enough yet to figure this out, and just assumes that frame 0 is 1x1, frame 1 is 2x1, frame 3 is 3x1, and so on. I believe this is just a display issue though, so the correct tiles should still be rendered. Can you confirm?

I confirm this is the case.
The correct tile renders, but it is incorrectly named in the task list. Any chance of getting that fixed as it will confuse artists big time!

Cool. (3) will be fixed in the next release, but it’s good to know that it at least renders the correct tiles for now.
