Hi, I’m testing v1.5 right now and had trouble on “Use Depth Map File Sequence”.
Does this option work on Voxel Rendering mode? It seems when I turn to Voxel Rendering mode
the “Use Depth Map File Sequence” option was ignored. When I tested on Particle Rendering mode,
the option worked fine.Is this still working on progress, or some kind of bug? Or It should work like this?
I’m waiting for my 1.5 license so I tested in Eval Mode.
I think you are correct, that it looks like a bug in Voxel render mode.
OK. Thanks for the quick response.
Now I have to wait for them to fix this.
Oh! Sorry that I didn’t notice that you are the lead developer!!
So I have to beg and wait for you to fix.Technically is it possible?
Because main consern of my test right now is to render FumeFx
correctly in the scene without bringing in heavy meshes from Maya.
So I’m glad if you tell me the prospect.
Thank you.
It was time to add some signatures so it is clear who is who, don’t worry.
It is doable, it is logged as a bug now and we are working on fixing it.
Don’t think it will take too long.
Thanks for reporting it!
Great! I’m glad to hear.
It will be the easiest way to bring fume and Krakatoa into
our pipeline, so I’m looking forward to it.
Cheers.
Just wanted to let you know that the Depth Map support in Voxel mode was fixed today.
We will probably post a beta build first (since we are fixing a couple of other bugs and adding some more features).
We will let you know when it is available for testing.
We have posted a bug fix build 1.5.1 to the Beta forums.
I have added you to the Beta list so you should be able to download and test it before we release it to the public.

Should you find any other bugs, please let us know.
Hi, Bobo,
Thanks a lot for bug fix.
I tested the beta version by simple scene, and it worked OK.
I’ll continue testing with more complex scenes in this few days.
Cheers.
