I can’t seem to send a comp to render with AE6.6. My submission script pops up and seems to work fine but when I hit the submit button I get the following error. Anyone know the cause of this?? Thanks.

A quick google search for this error message returns a whole spew of different, sometimes totally unrelated reasons for why you might get this error message. Even reasons not directly related to a missing file path either. I think you will need to use a “process of elimination” here to narrow down the issue. Does it happen to only 1 particular comp or only all AE proj files related to a particular studio project you are working on? Have you introduced a new script or 3rd party plugin recently or does your comp/proj use a plugin that you haven’t used before or is unique to your current working setup. Have you changed anything recently?! These are probably good questions to run through your head as we try to figure this out. So, I would try a fresh, simply AE comp. Does that submit? If so, try removing 50% of your troublesome comp and see if that submits? If not, remove 50% again of the remaining comp until it will proceed with submission. Hopefully something will stand out as being the issue to you then.
Thanks Mike, we updated to CS 6 AE on the machine and installed the deadline script. That’s about it. One thing is that we tried replacing the submission script that sits in the scripts folder and it worked for about three submissions and then the error came back. I have a feeling this is deadline related somehow but not sure what exactly.
