AE submit box - missing local rendering checkbox

Hi there,

i noticed that the “enable local rendering” option has disappeared from the AE submit menu.

If i RMB in the monitor and go into the job properties I can still change it from “false” to “true”, but of course no artist does so.

Any reason why this is? I really like this option, as it reduces server strain significantly.

Hi Timor,

This was simply an oversight, and we’ll fix this for the upcoming 5.2 maintenance release.

I’ve uploaded the fixed script here. To install, go to \your\repository\submission\AfterEffects and backup the original SubmitAEToDeadline.jsx file. Then unzip the attached file to the same folder.
