After effect Font sync Mixed OS, crash on PC

Hello guys,

I am currently trying to setup the slaves between Mac Os and windows 7 to render After effect Projects.
After several tries It seems that Only Windows nodes are crashing when syncing the local font folder, it stays stuck like so:

the error given is :

[code]=======================================================

I looked over the forum first but after trying solution from here :
viewtopic.php?f=11&t=12415&p=55062&hilit=font+sync#p55062
and especially here:
viewtopic.php?f=11&t=11706&p=57740&hilit=font+sync#p51418à
nothing changes.

I tried to gives all rights on the local folder for all users and low down the security on local network at the minimum but still no changes.
when i browse to the local folder, it stays empty.

Do you have a solution?

thanks a lot.

Charlie.

Hello,

Could I have you try to copy those files manually using the same system user as deadline ran Deadline Slave, to verify there are no issues in that area? If you can run the slave from the command prompt as well, that would be great and could get us more info. Thanks

Hello!
One of the font was Not registered correctly because of it’s format “ttc”.
Removing it fixed the issue !

thanks!

Hello Charlie,

Thanks for the update! I’ll keep this in mind if we see this problem again.
