After Effects 2022 render error

Hello,

to extend our existing renderfarm for a current project, we added some machines to our After Effects renderfarm (all Windows 10).
I installed After Effects 2022, Deadline 10.1.3.6 and several of the After Effects plugins that we regularly need.
The material that is used in the After Effects project is available on our server which can be reached from any of our render machines with a specific “rendermachine” domain user.
Now we are experiencing a problem which we weren’t able to resolve yet - the new machines are trying to render a Test After Effects Project and fail with the messages:

  • Error getting remote endpoint: asio.system:10057
  • parsing stdout: SIGSEGV: Illegal storage access. (Attempt to read from nil?)

The strange thing is, this error does NOT happen when someone is connected to the render machine via Windows Remote Desktop. When I try to analyse what the machine is doing by connecting via RDP, suddenly the machine renders everything without errors.
As soon as I close the RDP again, the machine starts producing errors again.

Does anyone have an idea where this could come from?

Best,

Dirk
