After Effects "Checking file size - file does not exist" Deadline

Hi There.

Hoping you could help me understand this issue I am having.

We have a deadline render farm, there are three nodes (STRND01-03). We have multiple after effects jobs that keep failing for bizzare reasons.

We had one job running where only STRND01 was running and the others were getting errors. This turned out to be an issue with Maxon licensing. So while we got that fix 01 was able to just keep rendering, and it did. The next day the other nodes were licensed and in theory could just be added to the pool so all three could render the last part of the job. They started to render, then after a frame or two each they stopped and errored out the entire task list. Suspending the job and starting again seemed to fix it. Then it would periodically do the same thing. We entertained this till the end until that job was done.
Now, there are no jobs that dont immediately fail when starting.

When opening up the error on the worker it says

Error: There were 1 or more errors with the output

to which the only other part that seems out of the ordinary at the bottom says:

The main concern is:
INFO: SimtechLibrary_Ocean_Portrait.mp4 does not exist*

Checking the output folder the file is definitly there, and doesnt go anywhere.
When starting the job I can see that versions of the file are made.
E.g. SimtechLibrary_Ocean_Portrait.5108.13864
would flash for a split second.
But then it just goes back to the normal file name.

My only thinking is that its a rendering process, renaming the file as it goes, but cannot see that file once it does a size check?

I have turned off Delete files under a minimum size but doesnt help.
I am not sure if this is a setting in deadline or after effects but cant find anything if so.

Is anyone able to explain how After Effects with or without deadline compiles a mp4 file when it renders individual frames in the render manager? How does it stitch them together at the end to make one video file?

Using version 24.6
Deadline 10.3.2.1

Any further information needed happy to provide.

Thanks in advance.

Sean.
