Since we did a round of updates on workers, including windows update, video drivers, After Effects 2020, etc etc, the GPU plugin MIR fail to render on workers.
FailRenderException : aerender ERROR An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.
If we remote connect with Microsoft Remote Desktop, we see crash messages with Send/Don’t Send. If we clear those, then workers starts to process correctly the job, as long as we keep the Remote Desktop sesson active. If we close it, the problem comes back right away.
We have a simple Quadro GPU on workers, which appears correctly in Video Card field of Worker Information tab.
Very puzzling…
