Auto output detection

Hi,

I was wondering if this is possible to do in deadline:

I have frame that output from many render utilities (Nuke, rib, maya). Is there any way to tell deadline, that if the output is less than, lets say by example, 1024k, consider it as failed and requeue the task. If not that could be a very useful feature. If the person rendering does know that his frame have a certain weight, it could at least remove some black frame off his render.

We have something like this built into the Monitor, but it’s not automated. If you right-click on a job that is aware of it’s output, there will be a Scan For Missing Output option that you can use to manually check for issues.

Our AE plugin does have an auto output check option, and theoretically it would be possible to port this to other plugins. It’s already on the wishlist, but we don’t have a target release for this on our road map.
