i thought it might be useful to add an option, when adding 50 partitions, to automatically remove the ones that might have a missing frame, sometimes this happens and then it would just remove the complete sequence for that one partition, not causing any flickering due to missing frames
I had the same idea a couple of years ago. But I don’t like deleting stuff.
So in the Particle Counts rollout of the PRT Loader, there is a button “Don’t Render Missing Files”.
If you press it, any sequence that has missing frames will be turned off for rendering by unchecking the “Render” option.
This way, you can skip the offending partitions without destructively affecting data on disk, because frames could be missing because Deadline hasn’t finished saving them yet.
