AWS portal with direct file mount instead of asset server?

Hi,

I tried to find something in the documentation about this but no luck so far, maybe somebody can point me in the right direction here? My situation:

  • I have my entire infrastructure in AWS, with a fuse based file system connecting to S3 buckets (i’m testing ObjectiveFS and S3FS)
  • With all assets already in S3 buckets, instead of using the asset server to transfer the files to a cache bucket, can the Spot Fleet nodes access data from the S3 buckets directly?

Essentially I’m trying to take advantage of the AWS Portal but without the Asset Server.

Any thoughts? Thanks!

Can you explain more about it, what advantages do you expect from AWS Portal.

I think for your workflow, spotfleet can work on S3 buckets.
