Batch rendering re-rendering completed frames

i’ve asked a similar question before but i didn’t have any luck of a response so i’ll try and ask a different way.

When sending an animation to deadline in batches if a machine has rendered half the batch how do i get deadline to recognise that it’s already rendered half the batch when assigning the batch to a new machine?

which software package are you using to render?

I tried Skip existing frames, it doesn’t seem to be working.
