Brand new to Draft, getting flexlm errors

Hey guys, so we just got a whole bunch of Maya Vray licenses, and we are using Draft for converting Jpegs. I am noticing some errors coming from these jobs now which seem to be coming from machines that lose connection to our flexlm server, but it doesn’t really make sense to me. Is the Draft flexlm license server going to be the same as our Deadline license server? Why would Deadline receive a license, but Draft does not? I’m going to upload a screenshot of the error I see on the local machines, plus a log of the errors we’re receiving in Deadline.

Sidenote: Is it safe to assume only Thinkbox is able to download these files?

Anyone can download files posted to the forums. Confidential data should be sent to our ticket system. Do you need the log or image removed?

The Deadline Slave will finish its job even if connection to the license server is lost. So it’s possible that Deadline got a license, started the job, then connection with the license server was lost before Draft could get its license. If you are using the normal setup, both Deadline and Draft will be using the same license server.

I’m not sure if the render failed because of the license problem, or some other reason. (It’s possible, but it could be something else too.) Would you like to open a ticket with us, and send us your script? Please reference this forum thread.

I think we can get this sorted out on our end. Yes please if you could remove the log file that would be great. How do I use the ticket system? This post was more about narrowing down which server Draft is looking for a license on. I will work with the IT guys and figure out a solution. If we can’t figure it out, I’ll get back to you. Thanks for the speedy reply!
