Bug: Monitor crashes if "Manage Identities" used

Hi

I have found a serious bug which makes the “Manage Identities” useless for new clients in your farm.
I tested it on two machines.

Repro steps (Latest version 10.3.0.10):

  • Monitor menu Tools
  • Manage Identities
  • Enter admin PW
  • Tab Registration Settings
  • Button Add
  • Change Filter Type to “IP Regex”
  • Instant Crash

Thanks for reporting this crash and I was able to reproduce this on a 10.3.0.13 Deadline Monitor. As per the windows Event Viewer, Qt5Core.dll is the faulty module causing the crash.

I will create dev issue on this and let the engineering team investigate this internally. Unfortunately we do not have an ETA on this.
Look forward to Deadline release notes for future bug fixtures and feature releases.

You could run a 10.2 Monitor to set up the identities, though there might be other issues with a 10.3 Repository and a 10.2 Monitor.

The more complicated but more likely to work option is the command-line equivalent of the identity creation function.
