We upgraded to 10.1.14.4 and now we’re missing the menu item to Submit to Deadline.
This is happening in R21 for us, but seems to be fine in R23?
roll back to 10.1.13.2, I have no idea what went on with 10.1.14 but have multiple reports with different issues, I’m going to take a guess that the introduction of python3 with 2 was what broke it, and maybe the reason it works with r23 and not r21
I just fixed the issue and it’s a pretty simple fix.
Anyone who has this same issue should be able to fix this using the steps I’ve outlined below.
- Find the utils.py file under submission/Cinema4D/Main/deadlinec4d.
- Fix the quotations surrounding Save Project with Assets and save the file.
- Check C4D and verify “Submit to Deadline” is now available.
Do they do bug bounties??

As joseph stated this issue can be fixed manually by following removing the quotes around ‘Save Project with Assets’ in utils.py or by extracting the attached utils.zip to submission/Cinema4D/Main/deadlinec4d.
