Cancel Current Task - to actually cancel current task.

Hi,

just a minor suggestion, would you, please, modify the behavior of the slave scripts: Cancel Current Tasks, to actually cancel current running tasks?

I have some low priority jobs on the farm that are picked up when the higher ones are done, but, I also want them to be canceled when I submit a new, higher prio., task. Due to the recent bug I discovered, I can’t have the lower priority jobs to be left “interruptible”, so I wanted to manually cancel the current tasks the nodes were processing. But I can’t! It doesn’t cancel the tasks straight away, it waits for them to finish first, which is NOT DESIREABLE.

Is there any other, simple, preferrably one-click, way to do this?

Ack, that’s totally another bug! We’ll have to get that fixed in the next release. It’s supposed to cancel the task immediately, because waiting for them to finish completely defeats the purpose.

On a positive note, Deadline 5.1 fixed the interruptible bug you discovered.
