cannot submit job from modo 801

Hi, i have recently installed modo 801 (sp2) and tried submitting a job to deadline 6.2.

The submission script inside modo works fine, it sees the groups/pools but when i hit submit nothing happens the dialougue box stays put and i dont get a “submission successfull” pop-up and finaly no job appears in the queue. Now i can successfully submit the same job from within the monitor, so it seems to be the submission script that has the issue.

Modo doesn’t crash and i get no script errors.

Hello,

While we tested 801 support before Deadline 6.2 released, it seems like maybe the SP2 release broke something we use. I have confirmed this bug and I will have the devs work on a fix, with the hopes of making it into the service pack we are working on for 6.2. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Hello Chris,

So our lead dev, once he found where and why the code wasn’t working, got us a fixed submission script. I am including it here. You can install it by unzipping it to the same location you copied the DeadlineModo folder on the machine.
