Nuke added the ####.ext format for padding. The Deadline Submitter hasn’t been informed of the change and returns a warning even in Nuke versions which support it.
Hey there,
Do you know which versions of Nuke have this implemented? And even with the warning, I’m assuming the padding string is still getting swapped out correctly when rendering?
Either way, thanks for bringing this to our attention, I’ll get to fixing that straight away
Cheers,
- Jon
Sorry I’m not sure when they added it.
I know it’s in 5.1vX If I had to hazard a guess it might have been a 5.0 addition.
Ok, thanks! I guess I’ll have to do some poking around to figure out exactly which versions support this
UPDATE: For the curious, looks like this is a 5.1.x feature
Hey there,
Attached is a patched version of the submission script, which shouldn’t show a warning for output padded with #s (in Nuke 5.1+). Just make a backup copy of “[repository dir]/submission/Nuke/SubmitNukeToDeadline.tcl”, and extract the attached Zip file to “[repository dir]/submission/Nuke”.
Let us know if it works on your end!
Cheers,
- Jon
