Changing Slave Name?

For example, on a particular system… the machine name is PC16. But Deadline Monitor shows the machine name as Pc16. And the Slave on that machine was automatically named Pc16.

I want the slave name to be PC16 (uppercase PC). Is there a way to change the Slave name?

There isn’t, unfortunately. Deadline 5 and earlier have always enforced title-casing the slave names. In Deadline 6, however, we will no longer be enforcing this, and the slave name should now match the case of the machine name.

One thing that’s a bit weird in this regard. Each machine is named with all uppercase… PC20, PC16, etc. But even though the names show as uppercase (in the Control Panel>System)… when viewing the names in Deadline Monitor, a few show as all uppercase but many others show as mixed case such as Pc16, etc. Not sure why the machine names show like this.
