Chunks of nth frames

Hey,

I was wondering whether its possible to have chunks of nth frames?

That means I would like to render every 10th frame but in a chunk of 10, so I would expect Deadline to output “1, 11, 21, 31, 41, 51, 61, 71, 81, 91” from a single task.

Unfortunately, non-contiguous sequences of frames per task is not supported, although it is on the wishlist as part of a bigger re-factor of our task object in the future. I will +1 the internal ticket on your behalf.

I’m probably missing something but wouldn’t this be?

Frame list: 1-91step10
Frames Per Task: 10

That is correct, but Deadline doesn’t support this. If you tried to submit that to Deadline, it would ignore the Frames per Task.

Ah, ok. The only place where we’ve used “Frames per Task” have been Fusion comp jobs.
