I found out you can control what a user can see in the monitor through user group permissions. A user (in a certain group) can either see other user’s jobs, or only see their own submitted jobs. Now I’m wondering, is there more I can do to get some finer conrol?
Our scenario: We have several projects for different clients that we render on Deadline. Now we have some remote freelancers working with us on one of those projects. They are able to submit render jobs to the farm and their machines are rendering those jobs, too.
Currently they are in the “Everyone” group and can only see the jobs they submitted. Is there a way we could make it so they can see all jobs in a certain pool/group/department, but not all jobs on the whole farm?
