I am currently experiencing 30 to 40 percent cpu usage max when meshing with Frost, is it supposed to use all available resources? Maybe just on more heavy scenes then?
How many particles are you meshing? What mode are you using?
I just tested with a Naiad system containing about 7 million particles, and the CPU usage went to 100% for about 10 seconds. But when I loaded a 1/100 proxy of the same system (only 70K particles on the same frame), it only hit about 40% because there was significantly less work to do, and it was meshing at about 1 frame per second.
Perfect then, just what I thought, thanks Bobo and sorry for even assuming one second you werent going for the 100 percent usage (notworthy)
