I did a fresh install on all machines and in setting back up ran into a problem that I couldn’t shutdown machines from the Montior. The remote command failed with

Failure: cannot accept a connection because Remote Administration has been disabled under the Launcher Settings in the Repository Options

Firstly, there is no “Launcher Settings” in the repo options, it’s called “Client Setup” now.

secondly, I did have Remote Administration enabled, the problem was really a User Group Permissions problem. I don’t know if you can detect that or not, but its a misleading result and doesn’t give the correct (possible) solution.

Thanks for catching that. We’ll fix the error message in the next release.

I’m not sure how user group permissions would affect this. However, the Launcher only updates these settings every 10 minutes or so, so I’m wondering if it’s possible if the Launcher was already running when you turned Remote Administration on, and then just took a few minutes to recognize the change…
