Database and Repository Install Fails on all Linux but Centos 7

I have tried installing Deadline 10 on Centos 7, Ubuntu 20.04 and Debian 10. All of these are shown as supported operating systems for the Database and Repository installation. However, Centos 7 is the only one that installs normally. The others fail during the installation process and require separate manual installation of the Mongo database. As well, there are problems installing the repository after the documented method for manually installing the mongo database. In the end, I was not able to install on anything but Centos 7. Why are these other operating systems identified as supported when the installer clearly doesn’t support them (without manual intervention)? If this cannot change, then, at least, can a more recent linux version be supported (i.e., Centos 8)?

Hello!

Could you be able to share the installer logs from the temp directory of the machine where its failing. Have to tried manually installing Deadline on Ubuntu and Debian and does it install successfully ?

You can create a new request with us on https://awsthinkbox.zendesk.com/ and sharing the logs with us on that to troubleshoot.
