Hi Ryan,
It is possible run monitor in linux?
When I run the command deadlineslave or deadlineloucher -slave, he asks me for my server licenses.
My license server run in windows.
I put the hostname / ip address and port of license server, but nothing happen, he ask me again for license server.
Is there any way to configure ?
I use open suse with mono
Regards
Currently, the Monitor application is only available for Windows. If the slave can’t access the license server, there could be a firewall or some other form of network security that could be causing the problem. Also, you only have to specify a port number if your license file has been configured for a specific port, otherwise you should just leave it blank.
Cheers,
hi ryian…i was looking for the monitor and here i discover that it is not possible to run a monitor under linux!
so how do can i check my render?
is deadline supposed to work with a linux renderfarm and keep windows client…?
i presume you are developing the linux monitor…but is there a deadline for it:)?
thanks
matteo
Deadline 3.1, which should be released early in the new year (possibly February or March), will include a Monitor for Linux. For now, the only options are to monitor your jobs from a PC, or to use Deadline Command to query for job information. Deadline Command’s usage can be found here:
