Is it possible to assign slaves to a specific job, but have them kick in at a specified time? We have 4 dedicated machines that can be rendering all the time if required but we also have 4 desktop workstations that I’d like to pull into the rendering. Is there a way to delay them until the end of the day so I can leave them running over night?
You have a couple of options. You can either use Deadline’s Slave Scheduling feature (which requires you to run Pulse):

Or you can set up a scheduled task to launch the slaves at certain times of the day:
