for some reason all jobs sent to the farm are having issues with passes being saved to folders on the network.
We’re getting blank frames and there are no errors.
Huh, that’s weird. can you share some job reports so we can take a look for any anomalies? Thanks.

I found out that this is happen to me to.
In monitor the output folder and files ara accounted for.
For real are not.
Other starnge thing is that in log, in this case only appear 3 passes, instead of 15.

Your provided log report is a bit strange as it’s missing some areas such as the complete VRay section of the customise.ms doesn’t seem to have been executed. Also, at the end of the log report, the last line says:
whereas normally it should look like this if you have Render Elements enabled:
Can you make sure the option: “Restart Renderer Between Frames” is enabled in the submission dialog. Could you provide some more log reports and perhaps a test scene, with all geometry deleted, just keep the render settings and throw a teapot into the scene. I have tested here and everything seems to working just fine.

Slaves are rendering their first frame/tile correctly, but subsequent frames and render elements have problems or are rendered black.
Try enabling the option to Restart Renderer Between Frames in the submission dialog before submission, or in the job properties dialog after submission. We have found that this works 99% of the time in these cases.

And work’s fine
The option that you tell me “Restart Renderer Between Frames” is always on.
We do not make animations very often. And the dimensions of the images, needs to clear the memory., That why we use that option.

If not, please provide some more log reports (from jobs which have an issue) and perhaps a test scene, with all geometry deleted, just keep the render settings and throw a teapot into the scene, which will allow us to re-produce any issue you may be seeing.

In your job log report it says:
“0: INFO: Lightning: Rendering 0 render elements”
and your advanced VRay renderer export properties are missing.
Can you make sure that in SMTD > “options tab” > “Export Renderer-Specific Advanced Settings” > “VRay…” is enabled prior to submission.
Also, under the “render tab” > “Do Not Save Render Element Files” - ensure this is un-checked (False) and then try to re-submit a job.
If after the above changes it still doesn’t work, can you provide a new job log report and supply the 2 x job files when you click on the “export” button in the top right hand corner of the attached screen-grab (right-click the job after submission, job properties, submission params)
Can you tell me what settings you have changed in the SMTD?

The setting about advanced render v-ray anre on, in this case all of them, default options
The other as we are still in testing so the opton that you tell ““render tab” > “Do Not Save Render Element Files””, and cannot be sure that my college turn it on our off.
I will see if this will happen again our not.
