Deadline 6.2 - Mavericks Slowdown

I’ve been using Nuke 8.0v5 or 7.0v10 with Deadline 6.2 with no issues.

I upgraded from Lion to Mavericks (to work with Davinci Resolve 11).

I did not reinstall Deadline or Nuke after the upgrade to Mavericks.

Nuke comps are now MUCH slower. One that took 1:12 hours under Lion, takes 10:47 hours under Mavericks.

Any special Deadline setup for a Mavericks upgrade I should try?

Hi Bill,
This sounds like Maverick’s App Nap is kicking in here and slowing down your Nuke render via Deadline. We wrote an extra section in our manual to help users disable app nap in Mavericks:
