Deadline 6 Slave License Expired / Invalid

Hi,

I have a problem with some slaves that come up as Expired/Invalid in the Slave Information tab and this seems prevent the slave from picking up a job … I have not reached the maximum number of slaves that our license permits so I’m reaching out to you to help me solve this problem … in the old versions of deadline (like 3.1) i could just go and delete the slave info in the repository but in 6 this option dosn’t seem to exist anymore … I did try and reinstall the client a couple of times but that didn’t work.

Please advise on how i can fix this issue.

Hello,

Could I ask the company name the license is under? We can look at that and see if there is any issues. Also, the log from the license server would be super helpful. Thanks.

Hi !

thanks for the reply … I actually ended-up reinstalling the license server from scrtach and everything is back to normal … i wish i could have given you a more in depth reponse to the problem but a fresh start did the trick.
