Hi @Gasser_Markus

Can you attach the /Repo/scripts/submission/Cinema4Dsubmission.py
Please also confirm that you see C4D 2021 executable in Deadline Monitor> Tools> Configure Plugins> Cinema 4D Batch> Scroll down (right side)> do you see C4D 2021 executable entry?

Confirm the same for Cinema 4D, if you are using Cinema 4D (non batch plugin)

Just to confirm are you submitting from Deadline Monitor or from inside of Cinema 4D?

thanks a lot… we have solved this issue…
could you explain me better the difference between the cinema 4d or cinema 4d non batch plugin???

Hello!

When Deadline refers to a batch plugin that’s a plugin where we start the renderer (C4D in this case) and leave it running in between tasks and only shut it down after there’s no more work to be done for that job. You can see the checkbox to enable it in the Monitor submitter near the bottom labeled ‘Use Batch Plugin’ in your screenshot.

This saves a lot of time as we’re no longer waiting on C4D to start up and shut down every task.

The trouble is that if there’s a crash or some other error C4D doesn’t always manage to report the issue back to Deadline. Instead we’ll just get a ‘C4D has stopped running’ message. So you’d have to re-run the render without using the batch plugin to troubleshoot.

Hopefully that’s helpful!
