I am wondering there is a way to tell Deadline which group should render first? For example, I have both 3dsmax and After Effects jobs running at the same time. Even though I give the AE jobs a higher priority, the 3dsmax jobs still render first. Is there a way for me to say, “Ok Deadline, I am rendering 3dsmax jobs, but should a AE job be sent to the queue, I want you to render that first, and then go back to rendering the 3dsmax job”?
Groups don’t have a priority. They’re just a way to configure the slaves so that they render the proper jobs. If you want priorities, you’ll have to use Pools for that.
