DEADLINE LICENSES NOT WORKING

Hi,

we have been trying to get our licenses to work for the past two days. We have gotten the latest file that should give us a total of 27 nodes. We can only activate 12 then we get an error that we have “reached our limit of licenses”.

We have been down for 3 days and it has been a royal pain to get a hold of the person in charge of delivering the licenses. please help, we need to finish our shots.

This is what the license file says:

SERVER Cerebro “long number”
VENDOR frantic
FEATURE deadline frantic 3.00 permanent 7 SIGN=“long code”
UPGRADE deadline frantic 3.00 3.10 permanent 7 SIGN=“long code”
INCREMENT deadline frantic 3.10 permanent 5 SIGN=“long code”
UPGRADE deadline frantic 3.10 4.00 permanent 12 SIGN=“long code”
INCREMENT deadline frantic 4.00 permanent 15 SIGN=“long code”

Replace “long code” with each individual license code and our servers “long number” with its id number…

I may have just been speaking to you or one of your colleagues on the phone, and we were disconnected. I fired off an email to our contacts at your company to get you to call us back, but I can try to help here as well. I should note that if you ever have problems in the future with your license, you can always contact the support team:

This is the preferred method over contacting an individual person, as it may be possible that they’re on vacation or out of the office.

The problem would appear to be that your license server is still using the old license file (the one with the original 12 licenses in it). Swapping out the license file isn’t enough, as the license server needs to re-read the license file. The method for changing license files can be found here:
