Hi,
Since the post above was created, Autodesk have released a “Max2012 Product Update #6” - April 24th 2012. Please could you clarify if it is safe to install this update with regard Deadline compatibility?

I just downloaded and tested Update 6 (14.6.0.388), and it seems to work fine.

It looks like the problem is in a later update:

FYI.
New updates are now out for Max2012 and Max2013, which both mention Deadline as fixed in their release notes.
