Deadline on the M1 chipset for Macbook

Hi,

Has anyone tried deadline with the new apple M1 chips? I saw that M1 has something called rosetta 2 which dynamically converts x86 assembly instructions to the equivalent arm ones, but has anyone tried running deadline on it?

I wont be using the laptop to render, it will just be for development work.

This post seems newer and has some responses from users with some success using an M1 chip on Monterey.
