Just wanted to report this based on my last upgrade deployment :
Install Deadline V7.2
Un-install Deadline V6.X
The DEADLINE_PATH system variable gets erased so I need to manually re-create it to point to V7.

We actually found this not long after Deadline 7 launched, but it was too late to tell old Deadline 6 installs to not remove it. In future we plan to make Deadline 7 -> 8 a lot smoother, but in the meantime we actually made it so that the submission script installers will, if no environment variable is detected when they run, recreate it. This should be in 7.1 and beyond.
