Default "Disable Slave" menu setting

Is there a way to change the default slave setting for the “Disable Slave” menu option in Deadline 7.x? Currently the default is to NOT stop slaves.

I do believe the lack of an enabled default in this regard was a conscious choice to ensure that the user always had to choose to stop the slave on disabling, to avoid unintentional lost work.
