Hey guys i recently downloaded the trial version with 2 licenses, now i installed it the client on my local PC to have the controller here also and i installed client on one of my blades, but when i go install it on a second blade its asking for a license, is there any way to tell Deadline not to use my license on my local PC or is that how the demo version is? Am planning to buy it soon just wanted to try it out a bit more. Thanks!
Only the Deadline Slave should be taking up a license; you should be able to run as many Monitors as you want, even in license-free mode. Make sure that the Slave isn’t running on your local machine, and delete your machine’s Slave entry from the Slave List in the Monitor. That should ensure your second Slave slot is available for your second slave machine.
