Is it supposed to be the way that a disabled slave is still controlled by the power management features?
As just now my workstation shut down in the middle of something and then I realized that I had didn’t have my skype, winamp & firefox running (the triggers that prevent deadline from shutting down my workstation)
somehow it seems a bit odd to disable a slave and still have power management enabled.
Unfortunately it seems that the shutdown aspect of power management is one of the functions that will not check the status of a slave before doing it’s work.
I like what you’ve been told
for me it’s purely the fact when a slave is disabled that it doesn’t make sense for it to kick in.
Wouldn’t know how to prevent that and be able to use the monitor at the same time (so can’t kill the launcher)
I’ve participated with the 6.1 beta, can I then automatically participate with the 6.2 ?
Yep, it’s all fixed internally now and will hit v6.2 beta 4 when it’s released. As you already have beta access, then you will be able to grab this when it’s released. Don’t forget, you will need an updated v6.2 beta license available via Sales.
