discrepancy in tiles brightness using vray

We are using deadline fairly successfully in our studio, and have been doing for some time. However we are getting some issues when tiling renders using vray. vray frame buffer is disabled, and the tiles render and stitch without issue, but there is variance in the brightness of individual tiles which is noticeable in the final image. So far our workaround is to pre-calculate the light cache (we are using vray in brute force, universal method). This solves the issue but is not an ideal workflow - having to save out light cache’s then resubmit final renders - I was just wondering if anyone had and ideas, or had experienced similar issues.

If you are using Light Cache then depending on what sort of scene you are rendering you might need to pre-pass it, if there is a lot of bounce going on then yes, if not you can normally get away with Brute Force + Light Cache. Good news is that Brute Force for Vray 3 is going to be a lot faster!
