Do upgrades require new perm_lic?

I need to upgrade an existing farm running Deadline 2.5 to 2.7. Does it require a new license? I’ve already upgraded and I get the following error.

“License file does not support this version”

Yes, upgrading from 2.5 to 2.7 would require a new license. Please email Deadline Sales to request the new license:
