Event plugin to check image sequence?

Hey all, is there an event plugin that will scan an image sequence after rendering for gaps or errors? I’ve done a bit of searching and come up empty handed.

Hi,
You can right click a job in the queue and select “Scan For Missing Output…”
Hopefully this will answer your needs. However, for more advanced requirements, then “yes”, an event plugin can be developed to check image sequences after a Job Completes and fancy, auto re-queuing & reporting via email can be done as well. I know this, because we have something in-house that does this already :slight_smile:

Thanks Mike. I don’t see that option. Is that in the Manager? And you should definitely open source that script :wink:

Your job needs to have at least 1 render output path so it knows where to start searching for possible missing files. I don’t own the code so its not up to me to release in-house dev work.
