Explanation of an Error Msg

Hello,

I have a number of passes that are giving me the following error :

Error Message
Exception during render: An error occurred in RenderTasks(): RenderTask: Unexpected exception (Error in bm->OpenOutput(): error code 1

at Deadline.Plugins.ScriptPlugin.RenderTasks(Int32 startFrame, Int32 endFrame, String& outMessage)

this is one of 10 passes sent out by RP Manager, however the other 7 rendered fine. Anyone any idea about that read/write temp file message ?

Hi Ben,

Which version of Deadline are you using? Also, is a proper output path defined for this pass? The reason I ask is that the temp frame being saved out has no filename prefix or extension:

2010/05/28 10:27:59 ERR: Could not read/write file type: D:\DOCUME~1\render\LOCALS~1\Temp\0000
