Expose 3ds Max's "missing files found" errors in Deadline monitor

Hello all,

I’m wondering if there is a way for Deadline to fully expose the “Max.log” file error output to the “job task report” log output.

For example, if I send a job to our Deadline farm and the job starts accumulating errors, the log file in the “job task report” shows the entire output of the 3dsmax Deadline plugin wrapper, but the output stops when the rendering fails, so the error exposed in Monitor is generic and not the actual 3ds Max error.

Upon remote-ing into the machine that failed on the job, I can open the Max.log file at “C:\Users%username%\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsMax\2024 - 64bit\ENU\Network” and see the exact error that caused the rendering to fail, e.g.: ""Missing files found: “C:\some\file\path\here.png”

Is there any way to get Deadline to expose that specific error and/or log file output to the job task?

Not all our illustrators have privileges to remote into the render nodes, so there ends up being a delay in the workflow because the error information is vague and someone with higher privileges needs to troubleshoot, log into the remote machine, and scroll through the log files.

Totally understand if this is a limitation of the 3ds Max API, but it would be nice to have!

Please let me know if there is something easy I can do on my end to expose these errors! Thanks a bunch.
