EXR output in After FX

I need to compile my 32 bit exr’s in Max as an avi before they are visible in AfterFX CS5, am I missing a setting for pre-multiplication?

I am not an AE user, but I have heard from Krakatoa users that Adobe changed the default settings of AE to expect non-premultiplied files by default, so it is a matter of switching an option somewhere to make it work again. The output of Krakatoa is just fine. I will have to search CGTalk to find what the exact details were, you can google that, too… Unless it is a different problem - do you have the same issue with 16 bit EXRs?

And this is why every other compositing application on the planet doesn’t force you to chose, but just loads the data from the disk as written. There’s something to be said about a false sense of simplicity.
