I know I have dealt with this before but I cannot seem to remember where the option is to turn this on/off. Can it be done through the monitor-tools-repository options? Or is there somewhere else I should be looking?

Hi Joël,
It’s in Monitor -> Tools -> Configure Plugins. Select 3dsmax from the list of plugins on the left and disable the Fail On Existing 3dsmax Process setting.

Yeah that is where I thought it was; at least in 3.0. But it doesn’t give me an option in my install of 3.1. Here is a screengrab:
Did you just recently upgrade to Deadline 3.1, and if you did, did you install the 3.1 repository over the existing 3.0 repository? We seen this situation in the case I just described, and the resolution was to run the 3.1 repository installer again and do a repair. After the repair, this option appeared as expected. If the case I described explains your situation, try a repair and let us know if it helps.
